This 5w solar panel is recommended to accompany the Feedsync Timer system. Do not purchase this panel unless you have a Feedsync Timer. We have found that the 5w panel is sufficient enough to maintain a proper battery charge, without over charging, as the Feedsync Timer acts as a “charge controller” system. Using this panel on a normal 12v battery without a charge controller could cause battery issues.
